FILM INSTITUTE
A film institute designed at the Sabarmati Riverfront(Ahmedabad, Gujarat)catered to a strong context and landmarks around the site. Taking street as the main focus of the concept, the institute has been designed to make the complex lively and interactive. Derived from the film scripts to have many transitions, the form of the building is designed with many surface modulations. Modular walls are used in classrooms so as the classroom acts as a set itself where they can practically approach their professions and also to adapt to the varying requirements every time they are in the mass. The level difference on either side of the site is taken into consideration and has been used in a way that the institute is divided into two parts.
