History has always had major repercussions on the present. Knowing the architectural and heritage value of historically significant sites is what the aim of the conservation studio was. The site is a fortified complex included palaces and residentional blocks. The site had gone through major changes and losses over the years. Hence it was essiential to unearth the original structure of the complex in order to preserve it. The details on how the conservation process is followed with the use of local material and techniques, whether the same old ones or modern ways to do them were focused upon. Also the need for conservation, preservation, adaptive reuse, etc. was made much clearer thereby.
