Bamboo, like true wood, is a natural composite material with high strength-to-weight ratio useful for structural use. Various structural shapes may be made by training the bamboo to adapt to the shape as it grows. Thus the idea is to explore the use of bamboo majorly as a construction material, rather than keeping the focus just on the design. A central core is designed for all the functions to meet up and act as major transitional space. The services are therefore placed so that it is easily accessible  to all the areas.​
